A white-decor scheme is clean and bright. However, it is not as simple and easy to achieve as some may think. There is a danger of going too plain as if living inside a bland box. There are a number of design tricks that one can explore.

There are actually a number of white shades that can add depth to the palette. Various finishing materials, though all in white, will have different textures and will reflect light differently. Various shapes and lines can add interest to the white background and we can use a moody lighting to cast a warm glow. A dark wooden flooring can give a good contrast to the white design and it can provide some warmth to the interior. For furniture, fabric and leather can balance the cold impact of the white colour. Artistic decorations also add colours and interest to the design.
