This garden-like home is used for weekend vacations to rest and recharge.  The owners might also invite family and friends during the holidays. Therefore, the visual effect of the interior has to be spacious while functional areas for different leisure activities have to be arranged within the flat. For example, there has to be a reading couch, a tea tasting corner, a sauna room and a yoga practising area. However, the flat still needs to be practical for at most 8 people to spent the night together.  The designer has thus created various areas with multi-purposes. A functional area during the day can be turned into a comfortable guest bedroom at night.

In this unconventional home , we have played around with various novel elements, including self-leveling concrete flooring, special paint, plant wall, and we have placed exterior materials and outdoor settings inside the flat. By fusing the distinction between interior and exterior, we hope the environment can help the owners to recharge after the weekend with a fresh start.
